Choosing Natural Healing

After shadowing different medical professionals, Dr. Christophe saw that chiropractors could spend time with the people they helped, getting to know them and giving them the attention they needed. He quickly decided it was the right choice for his career, and attended Northwestern Health Sciences University to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Understanding the Impact of Chiropractic

While there, Dr. Christophe interned at the student clinic seeing people of all ages. One was a 4-year-old child that couldn’t walk or talk. He had been to the Mayo Clinic, Children’s Hospital and was put through the medical ringer to determine what was wrong. Nobody had any answers, and his parents brought him to the clinic.

A few weeks of treatment gave dramatic results. The boy began to walk, and soon after, started to speak. It impacted Dr. Christophe, who was astounded to see how correcting interference in the nervous system can allow the body to heal.

Though Dr. Christophe grew up playing sports and thought he’d work primarily with athletes, this experience opened his eyes to how much more chiropractic care can do than align the spine. “It can improve not just your function, but your overall life.”

The additional qualifications Dr. Christophe has undertaken include studies with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), advanced courses in Torque Release Technique® and training with the Webster Technique.

Outside of the Office

In Dr. Christophe’s spare time, he likes to play basketball and be at the lake in the summer. He enjoys watching all sports, indulging in ice cream eating and spending time with his wife, who he married in June 2017. He’s a member of Building Oshkosh Businesses and hosts the Oshkosh chapter of Helping Businesses Build Assets (HBBA).
